  • Pro-VET – Enhancing the Professional Development of Vocational Education Teachers in Russia and Serbia with European Practices

    A major reason for the different quality and appreciation of vocational education and training in the countries of Europe and beyond lies in the teachers. Selection, training and further education as well as the working conditions of vocational school teachers differ considerably. PRO-VET project focuses on the development of respective uniform teacher training objectives in Serbia and Russia and online-supported materials to achieve them. The methodological approach is "policy learning", i.e. the aim cannot be to export European solutions (which do not exist in this form anyway), but to further develop the existing teacher training systems in Serbia and Russia with reference to examples of good practice in selected EU countries.
  • TEACH-VET – Platform for self-assessment and development of the teaching competence for VET teachers and trainers

    The project targets to design systematic instruments and measures for the development of teaching competence of VET teachers and trainers. These instruments are aimed to solve existing systemic problems and shortages in this field. The instrument for on-line self-assessment and development of the teaching competence of VET teachers and trainers is expected to make the processes of recruitment, selection and induction of educators in the field of VET more smooth, transparent, and effective. This instrument should also facilitate improvement of work-based learning by making the acquisition and development of pedagogic competence more easy and accessible for the trainers in enterprises.
  • LIKA 4.0 – Digitally supported, cooperative learning on behalf of customers; sub-project: Development and testing of the overall didactic concept

    Development, testing and consolidation of digitally supported further training in the skilled trades for the work process and competence-oriented design of in-company training with the aid of a training management system.
  • ICSAS – Integrating Companies in a Sustainable Apprenticeship System

    The ICSAS project (“Integrating Companies in a Sustainable Apprenticeship System“) aims to give countries with no experience in work-based learning the opportunity to get a first-hand practical impression how this training system works. The sector chosen for this project is the footwear industry.
  • PACE Promoting Employability through Entrepreneurial Actions in Cross-Border Student Enterprises

  • Workforce Skill Formation and Innovation at the Shop-Floor Level in China

    The project will conduct internationally explorative research on VET that goes beyond the boundaries of the familiar national and European context and inquires into the as yet unresearched practice of “skill formation” in German firms at the “shop-floor level” in the international context of firms operating outside Europe.

    Phase II concentrates on the concretization of the discussion that a binational comparative study in the form of a benchmark is further detailed and carried through. It will be aimed to identify the conformities and the differences in the training of car mechatronics in the automotive industry in both countries. Another question to clarify is whether any differences in the training quality could be identified. The methodological approach for the comparison is based on comparative indicators.

  • ANKOM – Anrechnung beruflicher Kompetenzen auf Hochschulstudiengänge am Beispiel des Studiengangs Systems‐Engineering

    The "ANKOM" project develops and tests procedures for crediting professional knowledge, skills and competences in higher education courses. To this end, three Northwest German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, representatives of the universities of Oldenburg and Bremen and other research and educational institutions have joined forces to form a regional qualification network.
