“Vocational Education and Innovation” is a training programme under the auspices of the Institut Technik und Bildung (ITB) on the organisation, planning, shaping, evaluation, and quality assurance of technical and vocational education and training courses and processes. The training programme currently consists of three sections:
- Curriculum design
- Shaping TVET processes
- Evaluation and assessment
For each of the sections certificates can be awarded on two levels as shown in the following table:

If certificates for all three sections on one of the levels are available, a summative certificate “TVET facilitator” or “TVET facilitator trainer” can be awarded.
