The Erasmus+ project "Improve Digital Competences of VET Teachers and Trainers" (IDC-VET) was successfully completed at the end of February 2023 by the project consortium consisting of 7 partners from Lithuania, Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Germany.
The IDC-VET project focused on teachers and
trainers in three key sectors of vocational education: Metalworking and machine
production, nursing and hospitality. The central results of the project are an
online tool for the self-assessment of digital competences of teachers and
trainers, which was developed in the consortium aligned to the European
Framework for Digital Competences of Educators (DigCompEdu). Furthermore,
various learning scenarios for the different sectors of vocational education
and training were created and tested, so that a digital repository of open
educational resources for the use of technologies for teaching and training in
vocational education and training was prepared.
