Overall, the programme has been running for eight years, with an additional funding round for vocational education and training from 2018. Together with the Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP), the ITB represented the results of the project "Structural Development in Vocational Teacher Training (SteBs)". The three focal points of SteBs are technical vocational school teacher training (cross-phase cooperation, work as a subject for reflection, subject-integrated learning field teaching), dealing with heterogeneity in vocational school teacher training and the further training offer for teachers specialised in nursing. The resulting concepts, digital tools, media, training programmes and practical examples will be digitally compiled and made available to the public in the form of OER platforms.
