Leando successfully launched

On 20th November, the Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB; Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training) opened its new platform for training and examination personnel at the Rosengarten Congress Centre in Mannheim under the motto "Leading the way to Leando". Leando was developed by BIBB on behalf of the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF; Federal Ministry of Education and Research) in collaboration with those involved in training in practice - and the results are impressive.
Presentation: M. Schall and N. Vogt

Leando offers a wide range of impulses for modern training design, including case studies of good training and examination practice, networking opportunities and up-to-date information on the topics of media skills, news from professions and the use of digital tools to promote skills in training.

During the Go Live event, the main Leando services were presented, clustered into the Leando services "Information", "Network" and "Qualification". Melanie Schall and Dr Christian Staden from ITB were represented. Under the label "Qualification", Melanie Schall presented the Task Manager together with Nils Vogt from the Zentralverband des deutschen Bäckerhandwerks e. V. (Central Association of the German Bakery Trade). The Task Manager is an innovative tool from the Competence Centre that has now been integrated into Leando and is available to the public for the first time in Germany for use in training practice. In addition to the exciting introduction to the platform's services, inspiring insights into the topic of AI in education were also provided. The exhibition arena provided an excellent opportunity to network, gather information and experience the Leando services in practice.

The ITB team wishes Leando every success for the future and hopes that all training stakeholders will make intensive use of the platform.
