On November 9th, 2023, the fourth F.IT company workshop took place on the topic of "How can the IT and logistics industry position itself attractively for skilled workers?". The project team, represented by Lea Telle and Lena Wollenberg (ifib - Institute for Information Management Bremen), Dr. Kristina Kühn (Institute for Technology and Education) and Eva Koball (bremen digitalmedia e. V.), invited to the workshop. The hosts were Lisa Heise and Katrin Brunken from affinis.
People who are aiming to enter the IT sector via a career change bring many different needs to the application process. Together with Kai Stührenberg, State Councillor for Ports, the participants looked at some of these needs. In small groups, they explored the question of how these can be addressed. The situations compiled are based on lessons learned from talks and interviews with women interested in IT and the the project team during the course of the project.
