Workshop "Reflecting Ableism"

The two-day workshop was led by Prof. Natascha Korff and Prof. Alisha Heinemann. The aim of the workshop was to develop common research interests through the exchange of experiences, principles, questions and challenges. The workshop concluded with concrete research ideas and an outlook for the next joint meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Heidi Janz and Prof. Michelle Stack presented their lecture on "Our Continuing Adventures with Ableism in Education As "Special" Students", which could be attended via Zoom and in presence. The lively discussion that followed the presentation once again emphasized the need to address ableism in higher education, which is why the research group is looking forward to the next meeting with great motivation.
