Prof Dr Alisha Heinemann has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the German Adult Education Association (DVV) and will initially hold this office until 2027. The DVV Advisory Board advises the Executive Board and Members' Council on fundamental issues and challenges that are of particular importance for the development of continuing education and adult education work in Germany and at European level.
The Advisory Board is composed of representatives from academia, politics, business, associations/institutions, the media and adult education centre practice. In addition to Prof Heinemann, the picture shows Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, President of the DVV; Stefan Raue, Director of Deutschlandradio; Prof Dr Maria Böhmer, President of the German UNESCO Commission; Udo Michallik, Secretary General of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs; Uwe Gartenschlaeger, President of the European Adult Education Association and Dr Susanne Pfab, Secretary General of ARD.
