The Kick-Off event of SKILLS4JUSTICE project took place at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania, on February 5th and 6th, 2024. The focus was on organizational matters and, not least, getting to know each other of the very large project consortium, consisting of more than 30 people. Due to the size of the consortium and the associated challenge of scheduling, the meeting took place in a hybrid format.
The opening of the event was led by the S4J coordinator, Vidmantas Tutlys from Vytautas Magnus University, and Angel Fuentes Mateos from the European Commission. The latter presented the Horizon Program and clarified specific requirements for project management. The second day was dedicated to the initial content of the project. In addition to designing the work environment, initial in-depth discussions on research projects took place, and initial activities were scheduled.
The next project meeting is scheduled for September 16th and 17th, 2024 in Bremen.
