Children's University Workshop 2024 - "Experience electronics and robotics"

As part of this year's Children's University, three sessions of the "Experience electronics and robotics" workshop took place, each with 6-7 children between the ages of 8 and 12.
Coin-swallowing robot

After the children had watched with great enthusiasm the industrial robot HORST stacking up the sweets that had previously been distributed by them in his work area, they were able to build their own small circuits. They first used breadboards to light up LEDs at the push of a button and then carried out their own experiments with the circuits. The highlight of the workshops was, of course, the coin-swallowing robot to take home, which the children assembled in small groups and tested extensively. They carefully examined which objects and materials close the circuit and set the coin-swallowing robot into action.
