Zusammenfassung
The results of the first COMET pilot test in South Africa have provided a meaningful platform from which to design and implement qualitative improvements in the teaching and learning associated with apprenticeships. This paper focuses on a summary of the results of 300 apprentices in the manufacturing and engineering sector in electro technology based apprenticeships. An analysis of the results has informed an improvement process in work integrated learning which is also reported in this paper.
