Evaluate Europe is a book series on practical handbooks to provide more resources for evaluators.
ITB, University of Bremen is publisher of this double reviewed series. The series is supported by an academic editorial board: Graham Attwell (UK), Ludger Deitmer (Germany, series publishing editor), Trine Deichmann-Sörensen (Norway), Michael Gessler (Germany), Lars Heinemann (Germany), Lars Bo Hendriksen (Danmark), Bernd Hofmaier (Sweden), Johanna Lasonen (USA), Marg Malloch (Australia), Christof Nägele (Switzerland) and Nikitas Patiniotis (Greece).
These handbooks publish work emanating from a series of ongoing national and European projects on evaluation – including Assipa, REVAL, CERN, Covoseco, Eval 3, QualiVET and other European projects. The ITB publication series "Berufsbildung und Innovation – Instrumente und Methoden zum Planen, Gestalten und Bewerten" (VET and innovation – instruments and methods for planning, designing and evaluating) aims to implement the last decades' research results in VET in a "toolbox" for planning, design and evaluation. It refers to educational processes as well as to educational transitions and even VET systems. Furthermore it provides instruments that can be utilized in aspects as
- VET and regional innovation,
- VET and organisational development in enterprises or
- programmes of innovation and their evaluation.
There are four volumes in German, published by "Christiani, Konstanz".
The series "Berufsbildung und Innovation" had been discontinued in 2004.
