Organisation and Structure
The Institute Technology and Education (ITB) has been founded in 1986. Today it employs about 60 people and has been established as a central research unit of the University of Bremen.
Currently there are five departments..
The institute is managed by a board of three professors. One of them is appointed as the chairman.
Basic decisions on for example funding, research program and research perspectives or PhD-programs are reached in the ITB-Council.
An independent advisory board supports the work of the ITB regularly. Every three years a evaluation is done on basis of a detailed research report.
