ECER-Toolbox - Supporting hybrid presentations, hybrid posters and ePosters with the help of ECER-Toolbox

During the Learning Layers project (EU FP7) (completed 2017) the Learning Toolbox (LTB) was developed as a digital toolbox for work process-related learning. This tool has been further developed by the LTB-developers for the presentation of ePosters on conferences. In 2017, the application has been tested for the first time during two European conferences (AMEE, ECTEL).

At ECER conference in Bozen 2018, another application pilot was conducted via the European VET research network VETNET (supported by umbrella organisation EERA). The responsible VETNET-project team invited the conference participants who had submitted poster presentations to prepare LTB ePosters and to introduce these posters in an “interactive poster session”. LTB-developers had prepared for orientation online-instructions (videos) and an own LTB-domain.

As intended, ECER-toolbox has been used by the conference participants of “interactive poster session” for the presentations and afterwards the event it has been used for further interaction with the interested audience. After the conference, the final report of the pilot project with recommendations for the further development of the ECER-toolbox has been submitted to the umbrella organisation EERA.

The LTB-developers have been awarded by the conference organisers with the „#IBTMWorld Tech Watch Award 2018“.
