The MeLoDi project examines the competence requirements in logistics 4.0 and the challenges for transport and logistics companies in view of advancing digitalization.
Digitalization is regarded as a driver for the growth and value creation processes of companies. In addition to the increasing use of digital technologies, it is characterised, among other things, by increased customer requirements and increased process transparency and flexibility. These changes are creating new challenges for companies and their employees.
Further training offers are an important opportunity for companies to support their employees in meeting these challenges. Due to the lower financial and human resources in medium-sized companies, work process-oriented competence development plays a crucial role in order to be competitive in the future.
With the development of an industry-specific, digital network, MeLoDi starts at exactly this point. It aims to support small and medium-sized transport and logistics companies in particular in embedding digital technologies in the qualification processes of their employees. The project is coordinated by DEKRA Akademie GmbH.
