Launch of the "BIBB Learning Paths" - More flexibility and self-direction in the continuing training of VET Trainers

How can trainers in the dual vocational training system further develop their vocational action competence with the help of learning pathways? Initial impulses, challenges and possible solutions to this question were the subjects of lively discussion at the current kick-off event for the BIBB Learning Paths project. What is it all about?
"Learning Paths"

Against the background of changing work and learning habits, the ITB is working with the Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (BIBB) to develop a learning path-supported continuing training program for training personnel. Based on the long-established concept of the Kompetenzwerkstatt (see link in the blue box), content is being prepared cross-medially synchronous as well as asynchronous learning formats are being developed to support trainers in designing modern training practice-oriented to vocational processes. The potential of digital media for use in in-company training practice is also applied in a targeted manner.

The mix of offers is intended to meet the needs of training staff in terms of time and content and to contribute to greater flexibility and self-direction of their competence development. At the same time, the trainers receive assistance and tools for media-supported, process-oriented training practice to promote the professional competence of their trainees.
