Institute
The Institute Technology and Education (ITB) was founded in October 1986 and is now a Central Research Institute of the University of Bremen.
With more than 60 employees, ITB is one of the largest independent research institutions on vocational education and training and sustainability worldwide. Professors from five different faculties collaborate at the institute: faculty 01 (Physics/Electrical Engineering), faculty 04 (Production Engineering), faculty 08 (Social Sciences) and faculty 12 (Educational Sciences).
As a Central Research Institute of the University of Bremen, the Institute Technology and Education is evaluated annually by an external scientific advisory board.
