Tuesday 10 January 2023 was a milestone for the Erasmus project AI4ED. At the premises of the project coordinator IMH – Instituto Máquina Herramienta Elgoibar in Spain, 18 partners met for the kick-off meeting. The meeting lasted two days and served to familiarise themselves with the project.
On the first day of the meeting, each partner presented their organisation, team and role in the project. Then it was the turn of the work package leaders to analyse and present the objectives and challenges of each task.
On the second day of the meeting, the focus was on previous experiences. All partners presented their previous projects in the field of artificial intelligence and there was an initial discussion on the type of indicators needed for each of the modules to be developed. It was decided to take the partners' experiences as a basis for the project and build on them.
Heike Thöricht from the Data Science Center (DSC) at the University of Bremen accompanied the ITB to the project kick-off meeting as content support.
