ITB represented for the first time at the 9th Congress of the German Association for Network Research
On 28 October 2024, Dr Christine Siemer and Lisa Meyne (University of Bremen, ITB) took part in the 9th Congress of the German Society for Network Research in Darmstadt. This year's congress was entitled ‘Network structures between theory and practice’.

To
what extent is the method of social network analysis already being used in the
context of VET research? Which VET-related topics are being analysed using
social network analysis? What possibilities does the method of social network
analysis offer vocational education and training? These and other questions led
to an interesting scientific exchange, which the ITB colleagues were able to
enrich with the presentation of their contribution on the topic of ‘Using
social network analyses in vocational education and training: a literature
review’.
