ITB contributes to ECER 2024

This year's European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) took place from 27-30 August in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The Institute Technology and Education of the University of Bremen participated with Michael Gessler, Vivian Harberts, Ida Kristina Kühn, Lisa Meyne, Andreas Saniter & Christine Siemer and the following paper presentations, panel discussion and research workshops:

  • Paper Presentation: Social Capital of Actors in VET - An Egocentric Case Study Based on the AI Pioneers Project (Lisa Meyne, Christine Siemer)
  • Paper Presentation: Artificial Intelligence To Support E-Learning in the AI4ED Project (Andreas Saniter, Vivian Harberts)
  • Panel Discussion: Identifying, Developing and Evaluating Green Skills and Green Occupations - Conceptualising the Green Transition in VET (Presha Ramsarup, Michael Gessler, Simon McGrath, Jo-Anna Russon, Mónica Moso, PhD, Paolo Nardi)
  • Research Workshop: Skills Shortage and Recruitment of Skilled Workers in Germany and Lithuania - Development of Local Human Capital or Immigration (Vidmantas Tutlys, Michael Gessler, Kristina Kühn, Andreas Saniter)
  • Research Workshop: VET Research Framework - Challenges and Benefits (Lázaro Moreno Herrera, Michael Gessler, Christof Nägele, Barbara E. Stalder)

The ECER 2025 will take place in Belgrade, Serbia. We are looking forward to it and will certainly be represented again with contributions.
