The meeting was opened by Simone Oldenburg, Deputy Minister President of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Prof. Peter Thuy, President of GPM. In his welcoming speech, the latter advocated the importance of project-based learning for action-oriented learning and emphasised the important role of projects in the course of the digital transformation.

Subsequent workshops and lectures addressed diverse aspects of school in the context of the digital transformation. The focus of the event was on interactive and practice-oriented exchange between the actors. Experiences and findings from schools and science were brought in by a wide range of speakers, and people tried out, discussed and learned from each other. Inspiring best practice keynotes from teachers and school administrators framed the event.

Dr. Kristina Kühn from the Institute for Technology and Education (ITB) and Lea Telle from the Institute for Information Management GmbH (ifib consult) were involved with a workshop on the topic of "Developing Digitisation Strategies".
