NaLoGO project launch

In late June, the first joint meeting for our new NaLoGO project (“Sustainability in logistics using the example of the design and organization of supply chains and e-mobility”) took place with our partners ma-co maritimes competenzcentrum GmbH and C. Steinweg (Süd-West Terminal) GmbH & Co. KG. Together, initial agreements and clarifications of the initial work packages were made, and an agreement was reached on a possible advisory board, which will now be established with members from the areas of vocational training, further education and logistics.

On 17.07.24, the project kicked off with the first on-site workshop at practice partner C. Steinweg in the Port of Hamburg. The workshop involved working with company training staff to identify work processes relevant to sustainability. The results will be incorporated into future teaching and learning materials.

NaLoGO is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) as part of the “Nachhaltig im Beruf - zukunftsorientiert ausbilden“ program and aims to develop the sustainability-related skills of training personnel.
