New handbook: Practical examples of learning and work tasks in electrical engineering

Learning and work tasks are a proven didactic and methodological concept for work process-oriented, project-based and, if necessary, cross-location vocational training. The 'Kompetenzwerkstatt' concept offers a separate module in which questionnaires and lists of criteria are used to explain how learning and work tasks can be developed step by step.

But what exactly do such learning and work tasks developed according to the concept of the ‘Kompetenzwerkstatt‘ actually look like?

This handbook provides exemplary answers to this question for the vocational field of electrical engineering. Three learning and work tasks are presented for the vocational field of activity ‘Installation and commissioning of standard electrical systems‘ in the electrical trade. The tasks are documented in the templates provided by the ‘Kompetenzwerkstatt‘. This documentation is included in the manual and is also available for download. In addition, the learning and work tasks are prepared in an online platform specially designed for their development and presentation - the Task Manager. This platform can be accessed via the link in the blue box.

The handbook has been published in the series ‘Kompetenzwerkstatt - Handbücher für die Berufsbildungspraxis‘ and can be downloaded free of charge (via the link in the blue box).
