The first MetaFin conference took place at the University of Mannheim from 2nd to 3rd June 2025. The conference was organised by the Meta project (MetaFin) of the BMBF funding line ‘Research on Financial Education’. MetaFin accompanies a total of 73 individual and joint projects.
The FinDMB project (Serious Game for the Financial Literacy of migrants – reflecting diversity, multilingualism and vocational orientation) from the department ‘Diversity and Critiques of Power in Educational Pathways’ was represented by Prof. Dr. Alisha Heinemann, Dr. Franziska Bonna and Julia Tietjen.
The aim of the first conference was to enable all funded projects to get to know each other, exchange ideas and network. It was a successful and fruitful start, which enabled the establishment of sustainable nationwide networks.
