Several researchers from ITB (Susanne Peters, Kristina Kühn, Ludger Deitmer, Andreas Saniter, Michael Gessler) presented and discussed their research findings in Valencia. The conference, which was organized and financed by the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences and the Department of Didactics and School Organization from the University of Valencia, as well as its research group Transitions, was sponsored by Bankia Fundación para la Formación Dual, and it had a big resonance in the media: national and local newspapers, national and local radio as well as regional TV.

The Crossing Boundaries Conferences were initiated at the University of Bremen and took place the first time in 2015. The organizers at that time were Larissa Freund and Michael Gessler. The next conference will be held in April 2021 in Switzerland.
