Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael Gessler took over as spokesperson for the Institute Technology and Education (ITB) on 1 April 2022.
He thus replaces Prof. Dr. Falk Howe, who has led and represented the institute with foresight and high commitment since 2015. The new deputy spokesperson is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maren Petersen, who in turn replaces Professor Gessler in this role. The ITB is a Central Research Unit of the University of Bremen. It is one of the largest university research institutions worldwide in the field of vocational education and training research.
