Euronet PBL

The project Euronet‐PBL developed international recommendations and instruments to enable to improve the quality of Practice‐Based Learning (PBL) in three areas of Higher Education (HE) study programmes (vocational teacher education, business administration and engineering).

The existing practice‐based learning arrangements (Praktika) provide a basis for interactive cooperation between universities and partner enterprises. In this context the students’ projects and workplace learning opportunities at companies can be developed as key elements of higher education study programmes. With appropriate support from the key stakeholders such activities can promote better partnership co‐operation between universities and local companies. Based on these starting points the project produces empirical evidence, guidelines and support tools to strengthen the role of practice‐based learning in the European Higher Education Area.
