NaLoGO – Sustainability in logistics using the example of the design and organization of supply chains and e-mobility
On 1 June 2024, the joint project NaLoGO started in the funding program "Sustainable at work - future-oriented training" with a duration of 24 months. The project is funded by the BMBF and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus. NaLoGO aims to develop the sustainability-related skills of training personnel.
In the project, sustainability is not understood as an abstract moral ideal, but is directly related to the specific work context and authentic work situations based on the three sustainability dimensions of ecology, economy and social issues. In addition to sustainability-oriented skills development for company training staff, the aim is also to make visible the contradictions and areas of tension between the three sustainability dimensions and the logic of company action in order to derive coping strategies and practical learning and advisory modules. In addition to the ITB as the network coordinator, the educational institution ma-co maritimes competenzcentrum GmbH (Hamburg) and the logistics service provider C. Steinweg (Süd-West Terminal) GmbH & Co. KG are partners in the joint project.
