TACCLE4 - Strategies, Models and Tools for Continuing Professional Development for Teachers in e-Learning

Problem: In the previous projects (Taccle 1,2,3) digital competences of teachers at schools have been supported. Taccle4 CPD is going to develop strategies and models for ongoing further qualification (CPD). The ITB project work is focussing on teachers in the vocational training area.

Objective: Create an overview of digital transformation in working life and to develop perspectives of digitalisation in vocational teaching and learning processes.

Research approaches: The research-related topics of the ITB have been in this regard:

  • Policy-analysis, in order to make transparent different political areas and approaches to action for the support of digital competences in vocational education.
  • Comparing analyses of training concepts in the previous projects (Taccle projects and Learning Layers) and of an actual state of actual research and development projects.
  • Analyses of open education resources (OER) as a contribution for the development of vocational teaching and learning arrangements.
  • Summarizing analyses of the different innovation paths with support of digital competences in vocational education and qualification of employees.
Results: The project results of the ITB are presented in five interim reports (related to vocational education): Policy-analyses, comparing analyses of projects, case studies of OER, synthesis report, handout for development of qualification programmes.
