WBV-HB – Continuous Education Training Network Automotive Industry Bremen

Against the backdrop of the challenges of the transformation of companies in the vehicle industry in the state of Bremen and its surrounding area, the continuing education network aims to promote and coordinate a regional continuing education programme that meets the qualification needs of companies to shape the transformation and contributes to the strategic development of a demand-oriented skilled labour base.

In addition, the project aims to provide companies with this offer in a custom-fit manner and to support SMEs in their future-oriented continuing education planning. The CET network is based on social partnership. The core of the CET network is a coordination office, which is supported and accompanied by an advisory board made up of social partner organisations, public authorities, VET stakeholders, companies and academic experts. Based on an analysis of the qualification needs of the companies, a regional strategy for securing skilled labour is developed. In order to implement this strategy, the coordination office, together with a network of regional training providers, coordinates a demand-oriented qualification offer, which also includes the development of new and innovative measures and the initiation of cooperation between training providers. The aim is to provide companies with needs-oriented qualification offers, qualification counselling for individual companies, counselling and support for companies in strategic CET planning, counselling and support for companies in anchoring company CET processes, counselling for companies in acquiring funding for the implementation of qualifications, and training for managers and works councils in strategic CET planning and the organisation of company CET.
