CarEasyVET
The European consulting documents on the EQF point at the voluntariness of the EQF and underline that the individual member states are responsible for their own qualification systems and the assignment of their qualifications. This is where the project “CarEasyVET” starts. It allows to discuss and clarify the varying positions across country boundaries.
In order to create a uniform understanding of
terms (such as qualification, learning results, competencies, domains,
vocational acting capacity), these terms are first and foremost described by a
detailed literary analysis and are then defined in a binding way in the
project. Based on qualification structures in the automotive sector, a model
and/or instrument for the identification and assessment of competencies and vocational
acting capacity is developed with an orientation to domains. In addition the
domain-related competencies and the vocational acting capacity will be
identified for the qualificational profiles predominant in the sector. A
sector-based qualification framework based on competencies and vocational
acting capacity will be developed which should be compatible with national
qualifications frameworks. Furthermore a Credit Point system for competencies
and vocational acting capacity will be developed and transferred to national
qualifications frameworks along with a model proposal for a transfer of Credit
Points from a sector solution with domain orientation. Partnerships with social
partners, relevant organizations, responsible authorities etc. will be established
in order to assess and modify the developed proposals.
