Matching Frames – Weiterentwicklung & Transfer sektoraler Qualifikationsrahmen

The primary target of this project is the development and the testing of methods as well as of means and tools which could be used to identify qualifications, qualificational profiles and “ordinances” in three selected sectors (metal and automotive technology, electrical technology) in order to assign them to the respective levels of national sector frameworks and levels of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

All methods, means and tools have to be highly practical and must safeguard transparency. The aim is to create clear and evident connecting lines between national qualifications frameworks, sector frameworks and the EQF in order to safeguard the comparability and transparency of qualifications. In order to reach this aim it has to be determined, how existing qualifications/qualificational profiles and “ordinances” are at all formulated in a learner‐result oriented way. If this is not the case, suggestions will be made how a learner result oriented reshaping could be envisaged based on work processes. Work process relations are especially well suited as a basis as they are deemed structurally identical in the individual sectors all over Europe.
